Using our website
Terms & conditions
A few clear terms for using our website, reading our articles and getting in touch.
Last updated: 14 September 2026.
1. About these terms
These terms explain how you may use the Macsi website and its blog. Please read them before using the site. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the website.
The website is operated by Macsi Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 08022370. Our registered office is 2 Viking Close, North Petherton, Bridgwater, TA5 2SS. You can contact us at info@macsi.co.uk or on +44 7880 727926.
2. Enquiries and our services
The site introduces our administration, content management, process management, podcast and webinar, and bookkeeping support services. Descriptions on the site are general information about the support available.
Sending an enquiry, reading an article or subscribing to our newsletter does not create a contract for services. Before work starts, the scope, fees, timing and other service terms need to be agreed separately. Any agreement for client work governs that work; these website terms do not replace it.
3. Using the website
You may use the website for lawful purposes, including learning about our services, reading our articles and contacting us. You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, the administration area, servers or other systems;
- introduce harmful software, interfere with the site or deliberately overload it;
- use the site to send spam, submit another person’s details without authority or provide deliberately misleading information;
- use material from the site in a way that infringes someone else’s rights or falsely suggests that Macsi endorses you.
If we provide you with an account, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. We may restrict access where reasonably needed to protect the website or investigate misuse.
4. Our content and brand
Unless otherwise identified, the website’s text, design, logo and other materials belong to Macsi Ltd or are used with permission from their owners. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
You may read, print or download reasonable extracts for your own use or internal business reference, keeping any ownership notices intact. Please ask us before republishing substantial material, adapting our content for distribution or using our logo. This does not limit uses permitted by copyright law.
You may link to our public pages fairly, provided the link does not misrepresent our relationship with you or suggest an endorsement.
5. Information and external links
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but articles and service information may become out of date. Blog posts provide general guidance and do not take account of your individual circumstances. Obtain suitable advice before relying on them for a significant business, legal, tax or financial decision.
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control their content, availability or services. Check their own terms and privacy information when you visit them.
6. Availability and responsibility
We may change, update or temporarily suspend parts of the website, for example for maintenance or security. We cannot promise that access will always be uninterrupted or that every part of the site will be free from errors.
Our responsibility for loss or damage is determined by applicable law. These terms do not exclude or limit responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. They do not take away any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.
7. Privacy and newsletters
Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information, including information about enquiries, subscriptions, cookies and website analytics.
Newsletter subscriptions are optional. You can unsubscribe through the link in any newsletter or by contacting us. Subscribing does not commit you to buying any service.
8. Changes and questions
We may revise these terms as the website changes. The latest version and its update date will be available on this page. Changes apply to your future use of the website and do not change a separate client agreement.
These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales can hear disputes relating to them. If you are a consumer, this does not prevent you relying on mandatory protections or bringing proceedings in a court available to you under the law where you live.
If you have a question or concern about the website, please email info@macsi.co.uk so we can try to resolve it.
